shimmi’s own dance video, with the Shimmi effect traced from their moves
Shimmi traced the dancer’s moves and flashed a neon trail and a neon outline over the video 3 times, on the beat of its own music — pulses: a flash on alternating downbeats. It opens clean, with no effect in the first bars. The effect is on 38% of the time, and the longest flash lasts 1.8 s. The video stays in view under every flash.

A Shimmi mix splices the dancer's own footage with a visualization assembled from dance motion, cut on the downbeats of the music in that footage and carrying its own sound. What you watch here is the clean master; the copy you download carries a Shimmi watermark burned into the pixels.
